Alec Finlay, Pollok Park, Glasgow

I was fortunate to help create Scotland's Covid Memorial in Pollok Park. This meant I spent many days working there with my creative team, Alistair and Kate, along with the park staff, in different seasons and weather, installing the artworks. It's a beautiful landscape and a model of the transition from landed estates to civic park. 

I have Long Covid so some of the time I was overseeing from a deck chair and I always enjoyed the amusing and witty Glaswegian repartee from passersby.
