The Grow Your Own Working Group has presented its recommendations report to the Environment Minister. The group was formed in December 2009 to advise on how the 'grow-your-own' actions in Recipe for Success - the Scottish Food and Drink Policy - could be met. The GYOWG involves a wide range of organisations from the voluntary, public and private sectors. The 27 recommendations cover planning, legal, skills, guidance, funding and community land. The group are continuing to work to lead implementation of the actions identified in the report. A greenspace scotland report on Community growing which was prepared to support the group's work will be published later in April.
