Once we have received your form, you will be sent confirmation that your user name and password have been activated along with instructions of how to enter projects onto the database.

Network membership is available to any organisation directly involved in the creation, management or promotion of greenspace in urban Scotland and which is able to submit three greenspace projects to the online database over a 12 month period.

why should my organisation become a network member?

As well as being able to share experience with other individuals and organisations in a similar field, there are a number of key benefits to being part of the greenspace scotland network:

it is a mechanism to share practice via networking meetings, training events and seminars for network members
access to 'greenspace scotland network only' training and events
subsidised access to other selected training courses, events and publications
opportunity to contribute to greenspace scotland national programmes and policy planning
free access to the members' area of the greenspace scotland website
access to network member contact details
free monthly e-bulletin
option to participate in national PR activity

Network members have full access to our searchable online projects database. Members can add their own projects as a way of sharing practice and raising the profile of their work and activities. Members have access to 'non-public sections' of projects on the database including funding details and key learning points. greenspace scotland provides a national context for the network and for local projects, which means we can raise the profile of greenspace in the eyes of funders, politicians and other key stakeholders

Organisations must be directly involved in the creation, management or promotion of greenspace in urban Scotland.

To promote the concept of a learning and sharing network by becoming a network member you are agreeing to:

share information across the network
submit a minimum of three greenspace projects in the first year to the web projects database LINK and add a minimum of one per year thereafter. N.B. We recognise that some organisations will have fewer examples of greenspace projects, if this applies to you, please call us to discuss.
add greenspace scotland to your organisation's distribution list for all media, PR and events notification and activity related to greenspace
provide information as appropriate for greenspace scotland’s e-bulletin and website
