The National Lottery Heritage Fund Business Support Programme has been developed by Museums Galleries Scotland, Built Environment Forum Scotland, and greenspace scotland to support heritage organisations in Scotland to develop sustainable business models.

The 18-month programme will deliver a comprehensive resilience and leadership training programme for approximately 40 heritage organisations in Scotland. The training will be tailored to the needs of participants, focusing on leadership, governance, business and financial planning, resilience and local community engagement.

Programme delivery will commence in early 2021 and run for 18 months with the expectation that organisations participate in between 20 and 30 days training within that time period. Eligible organisations will be awarded a grant to enable them to fully participate. It is expected that training will be delivered using a variety of methods such as small cohorts, directly at organisation’s locations and digitally.

The Expression of Interest is intended to capture interest at an early stage from heritage organisations – and remember, heritage includes greenspace, parks, landscape and natural heritage. Please note: it is an initial expression of interest and does not commit you to participating in the programme.
