Glasgow Green will be a city hotspot during the Glasgow 2018 European Championships, bringing together sport, culture and entertainment with a daily programme of free to attend activities.

We’re delighted to be hosting the #GreenspaceHub, bringing together a range of organisations to showcase Scotland’s wonderful parks and greenspaces, and the activities you can enjoy in them.

Julie Procter, Chief Executive of greenspace scotland said:

“Go Live! is a great opportunity to inspire us all to get outside and get active. We might not all be top-class athletes, but as leisure centres without a roof, parks are open for all of us to enjoy, whether it’s walking, cycling, playing team sports or just taking time out to catch up with friends and family.”

Come and tell us why you love parks? Thanks to support from id verde and the Culture & Business Scotland Fund, we’re launching our ‘Postcards from the Park’ campaign to give everyone an opportunity to tell us about your favourite park and why you love it. Pop in to the #GreenspaceHub and write on the big selfie board, fill in a postcard or share your #MyParkLove on social media.

Joining us in the #GreenspaceHub over the 10 days of Go Live! are Central Scotland Green Network Trust, Concrete Garden, Fields in Trust, Grow 73, Grow Wild, John Muir Trust, Keep Scotland Beautiful and Paths for All.

We hope to see you too.
