Parks Community UK has put together a "how to guide" on what groups need to do to create more effective communications and help user groups support each other. This is one of a range of “How to” guides compiled from many sources. They are designed to help Friends groups understand common issues and to provide solutions.

The guide gives 10 top tips to help build relations and examples of good practice examples from Friends groups.

Parks Community UK is a greenspace community empowerment and co-management project aiming to promote and embed community empowerment in the management of greenspaces throughout the UK. It's led by The Friends of Lordship Rec and funded through NESTA’s Rethinking Parks programme.

The website is being developed as a ‘one stop shop’ of information for the Friends Groups movement. Once developed it will be transfered to be run by the National Federation of Parks and Green Spaces
