This popular bird-watching hide on the shore of Loch Leven, within the National Nature Reserve and on the Heritage Trail close to Kinross, provided outstanding views across the loch, a focal point for short walks from the village, and a resting place for those on a longer circuit of the loch.

We are delighted that the MyParkScotland hosted crowdfund raised £27,335.00 with Nature Scot committing to make up the rest of the £35,000 to rebuild it.

NatureScot's reserve manager Neil Mitchell said

"Given this bird watching site's popularity and fantastic loch side location near Kinross, we are determined to replace the hide as soon as possible."
