What would you like to change in your local area? Share your idea with us!

The second deadline of the Young Placechangers Ideas Fund is on 28 February

Young people and youth groups can apply to the Young Placechangers Ideas Fund for Seedcorn grants (up to £500) and larger Ideas Fund grants (up to £3000)

Young Placechangers puts young people in the lead role bringing together the wider community to look at local spaces, plan and deliver improvements.

Seedcorn projects so far have included improvement of local greenspaces used by young people, a family funday, a litter campaign and a treeplanting project. Projects all developed by young people to reach out to the wider community involving them in their local areas.

Developed by greenspace scotland and partners Youth Scotland, with funding support from the Scottish Government and Heritage Lottery Fund, the Young Placechangers Ideas Fund will support young placechangers across Scotland to put their ideas into action and change places for the better – where they live, play, hang out or go to school.
