Park Managers Forum – Monday 22 October (11:00-15:00) - Edinburgh

The Forum provides a professional network for park managers, park development officers and other local authority colleagues working in parks and greenspace to share experience and practice.

The focus for the October meeting is ParkPower - generating energy from parks and greenspace. This project has recently secured funding from the Nesta/HLF Rethinking Parks programme.

We would strongly encourage you to attend with energy, GIS and/or planning colleagues 

We'll also hear about ParkLife - another Rethinking Parks project using sensors and open data to better understand how parks are used and valued.

Lunch will be provided and there is no charge for attendance (but a £25 admin fee will be charged for booked places which are cancelled less than 48 hours before the event).

Places are limited and so we may need to restrict the number of attendees from each Council.
