We are pleased to report that greenspace scotland’s guide to Managing Parks and Greenspaces During COVID-19 features in World Urban Parks' report Pathways to Recovery: Wellbeing and Resilience.

World Urban Parks' document outlines key principles and partnerships cities should consider and incorporate as they approach a ‘post-COVID-19 ‘recovery period. It features an international collection of resources, insights and community perspectives and greenspace scotland's guide is featured in the Global Recovery Plans & Frameworks section as an example for the UK. There also examples from Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States.

Pathways to Recovery aims to help connect park agencies, community organizations, individuals, cities, and park conservancies to better navigate a path toward recovery, equity, wellbeing, social justice and resilience in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. In sharing the guide, they hope that it will be used it to strengthen community’s synergies between public health, nature conservation and climate change adaptation to make the world a better place focused on equity, wellbeing, nature conservation, climate change adaptation and health priorities through long term urban policy and planning decisions and implementation.
