What a fantastic day we had last Saturday (9th Aug) on Culbokie Green with smiles all round - despite the gusty weather. We enjoyed some brilliant races, face-painting with Claire Carson, plate spinning and circus skills with Trapeze Entertainment and many other activities - with some friendly competition amongst the children to get onto our leader boards. The adults seemed to be having a good time too - testing their skills in juggling and plate spinning and cheering everyone on. The delicious refreshments and home baking kept our energy levels high.
Our thanks to a fantastic gang of 19 volunteers who organised the event, manned the various activities, baked and generally mucked in. We couldn't have asked for more. Thanks also to Parks4Life for their support which made the event possible. And thanks to everyone who has given us great feedback after the event. It was wonderful to see the community coming together for such a fun-filled afternoon.
