Developing a Parks4Life Fund for Scotland's parks

Scotland’s parks are well-used and much loved. We want to ensure they continue to be cherished and nurtured so that we hand them on in good heart for our children and grandchildren to enjoy. The Scottish Parks4Life Fund is an easy and simple way for everyone who uses and loves Scotland’s parks to make a donation, large or small, to support our treasured parks.

This project will develop a £1million Parks4Life endowment fund for Scotland’s parks.  It is the first step towards our ambition for a multi-million fund which will help to keep Scotland’s parks in good heart for future generations to enjoy. We are delighted to have received a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to kick-start the development of the Parks4Life Fund for Scotland’s Parks.

Over the next 3 years, the Heritage Fund grant of £500,000 will be matched with donations from individuals, businesses and trusts to raise that first magic million. The funds will be invested to provide an endowment to support Scotland’s parks in perpetuity.

Please can you help us develop the Scotland Parks4Life Fund

The Parks4Life Fund provides a way for all of us to show how much we love and treasure our parks. Thanks to the matching endowment grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, which matches £ for £ donations to the Parks4Life Fund, the value of your donation will be doubled.

And if you gift-aid your donation its value is further increased at no additional cost to you. The Heritage Fund matching grant means that every £10 donated with gift-aid, becomes a £25 investment in the Parks4Life Fund; every £100 becomes £250 and so on.

You can make a donation easily and safely via the MyParkScotland website

Or to make a text donation to the Parks4Life Fund simply text PARK to 70450 to donate £5. This costs £5 plus a standard message rate message. Alternatively you can opt to give any whole amount up to £20 by texting PARK followed by the amount you want to donate e.g. PARK20

Thank you…and please look out for more information coming soon about a series of events and activities to support the Parks4Life Fund project.

The Parks4Life Fund is a way for all of us to show how much we love our parks.
