Cranhill Park - Safety and Lighting workshop

Following on from the #LightTheWay campaign for lighting to be installed along main routes in Glasgow’s parks greenspace scotland has been engaged by Glasgow City Council to look at this important issue in Glasgow parks.

One of the site that we have been asked to look at is Cranhill park. Opened in 1961 the park is situted beside the main Glasgow to Edinbugh Road. 

This workshop will take place in the park and using our Community Placemaking approach for an interactive session to look at the park through the lens of safety and lighting.
