Tesco Fruit & Veg grants invites schools, registered charities and not-for-profit organisations supporting children to apply for up to £1,500 to improve access to fruit, veg and healthy food or snacks.

This could include providing fruit or healthy snacks in school, introducing or supporting breakfast or holiday clubs, cooking or gardening initiatives to grow your own fruit and veg or providing much-needed half time power for a sports club.

Every four months, three local projects are selected to be in the customer vote in Tesco stores throughout Scotland. Every project shortlisted for the vote receives funding but a customer vote using a blue token will make the difference to just how much funding each project receives – £500, £1,000 or up to £1,500. All applications that are received are assessed, and Tesco colleagues help to select the projects that will be voted for in regions across the UK. greenspace scotland works with Tesco and Groundwork to support successful projects in Scotland.
