Is your neighbourhood great for walking? Is it the best walking neighbourhood in the country? The Ramblers
are looking to find Britain’s Best Walking Neighbourhood 2019, after Hastings Old Town took home the award
last year.

If you think your neighbourhood deserves recognition for its walking environment then head over to
www.ramblers.org.uk/nominate and complete a short and easy nomination form by Sunday 17 March and
your area could be named Britain’s Best Walking Neighbourhood 2019.

The Ramblers want to give everyone the opportunity to benefit from walking outdoors, wherever they live and
work. That’s why we’re campaigning to ensure that our neighbourhoods are designed to encourage walking.
Britain’s Best Walking Neighbourhood award celebrates those places which encourage people to go about their
everyday lives on foot, showcasing the innovative approaches that have made neighbourhoods better for
walking and shining a light on good practice across the country.
