News and events News Date for your diary - first Green Health Learning Network event - 30 Jan'25 Join us at our first event of the Green Health Learning Network hosted by Public Health Scotland (PHS) and connect with experts, share insights, and collaborate on solutions to maximise the powerful connection between nature and health and wellbeing. Chaired by our own Chief Exec Lorraine Tulloch, this event will bring together a range of professionals to share evidence-informed initiatives aiming to improve mental and physical health through natural and open spaces, with plenty of space for questions and share learning. Additionally, the event will feature the following presenters: Professor Christopher Dayson from Sheffield Hallam University, who will discuss the evidence about the impact of green social prescribing on mental health and wellbeing, value for money for green social prescribing and key lessons for policy and practice. Dr Neil Howlett from University of Hertfordshire, who will talk about the evaluation of three Green Health Prescriptions (GHPrs) across a range of elements such as acceptability and equity, and the funding and resourcing associated with implementation.
