The Falkirk Council draft community food growing strategy has been approved for going out to 12 week public consultation at the Council’s Executive Committee. The consultation period is likely to run from February - May 2019.

The draft community food growing strategy explains how Falkirk Council and partners will support community growing across the Council area.

The strategy identifies land that could be used for community growing, explains the permissions groups must get and how they can go about obtaining these, how barriers can be overcome to get projects off the ground and the types of support available to both aspiring and experienced community growers.

Falkirk Council are working with Forth Environment Link to support community growing projects across the area.

The draft strategy, supporting documents and maps are available on Falkirk Council's website community growing page
