Glasgow Green is the oldest “public park” in Britain and the rich diversity of Glasgow Green’s historical associations is unequaled in the UK. The common lands of Glasgow Green were used by the people of Glasgow for washing, bleaching linen, grazing cattle, drying fishing nets and for swimming.

Glasgow Green on MyParkScotland

A number of groups have used MyParkScotland to raise funds for their projects within Glasgow Green including the West Boathouse Restoration and for an outdoor gym within the Green.
