The newly launched website, Growing Together, provides resources and support for those interested in starting their own gardens or joining existing ones in Edinburgh. Growing Together showcases several successful community garden projects, including the Sunshine on Leith Community Garden and Redbraes Community Garden. These gardens provide shared resources like tool sheds and raised beds, and serve as community hubs.

Hosted by Edible Estates a community interest company (CIC) dedicated to helping residents of council estates in Edinburgh start and maintain community gardens. The organisation believes that growing food locally is beneficial for both individuals and the community.

Individuals looking for a garden in their area can browse Growing Together's directory or contact Edible Estates directly. Those on council allotment waiting lists can also reach out to learn about alternative gardening opportunities. Edible Estates encourages community members to get involved and sign up for their newsletter to stay updated on their initiatives. Local organisations are welcome to contact [email protected] if they would like their growing project to be featured.
