New National Lottery project funding and loans to support resilience The National Lottery Heritage fund is once again accepting project funding applications up to £100,000. This National Lottery funding is there to help the heritage community recover from the effects of the pandemic, and re-engage with the communities hardest hit over the last year. Grants between £3,000 and £100,000 are available to organisations working with heritage to build their resilience and engage with those most in need in our communities. The Fund has also launched interest free loans – available for sums from £50,000 to £250,000 – aimed at organisations looking to restart and develop their income generating potential. The primary focus is on resilience and supporting heritage not-for-profit and public sector organisations and local authorities through the continuing COVID-19 crisis. They are also accepting applications from organisations or partnerships with projects that are led by and/or which engage diverse groups. There is have a budget of £10million during this first phase. The first decision meeting will take place in mid-January. NLHF will prioritise applications from those who have not received funding through the Heritage Emergency Fund or government recovery funds for heritage and culture.
