Scotland’s Towns Partnership (STP) and Keep Scotland Beautiful (KSB) are once again on the search for Scotland’s most beautiful and inspiring high streets.

Local authorities, business improvement districts, development trusts, community councils and any other individual or local organisation are encouraged to get involved.

The competition takes a broad understanding of the word “beautiful”. Entries will be judged on factors including horticultural achievement, environmental responsibility, and community participation. Entries will be shortlisted by STP and KSB, and the winner chosen by a public vote.

All shortlisted entries receive significant national online profile, with potential opportunities for additional media coverage. The winner will be invited to speak at a key event on town regeneration by one of the organising partners. Participating entries will also be invited to consider an organised visit from a local MSP during summer 2020 as part of STP’s MSP Town Connector programme.

You enter by sending a short description (300 words max) of why your High Street deserves the award by email. Please include one or two high resolution images of your High Street.

The deadline for entries is 5pm on Monday 30 September 2019. Entries will be shortlisted and the winner will then be chosen by an online public vote.
