Can you believe that it’s 10 years since The Helix Park in Falkirk had its official opening? You can’t miss Andy Scott’s Kelpies, nor the impact that the regenerated greenspace has had on visitor numbers to the Falkirk area (last year saw more than 850,000 visitors to the park).

But it’s role in supporting wildlife, nature and biodiversity is also key. The 30km (18.6 miles) of path network that link 17 local communities to these green and blue space benefits are an equally important piece of the overall impact of the first 10 years.
