UK’s Best Park is a two phase award, run by Fields in Trust, celebrating parks and greenspaces as the communities green lungs. Until 1st July 2019 people were given the possibility to nominate any publicly accessible local green space. 364 parks and greenspaces across the UK have been nominated. Now phase two starts, which is a public vote to find the winner. The voting closes at noon on Monday, 19th August 2019. UK’s Best Park 2019 will be announced in mid-September.

42 parks located in Scotland are nominated for the award, these include for example Alexandra Park in Glasgow, Camperdown Country Park in Dundee and Seaton Park in Aberdeen.
