Globally, 70 percent of greenhouse gas emissions emanate from cities. This new report analyses how climate change related shocks and stresses are interacting with other urban stresses to determine the greenness, resilience, and inclusiveness of urban and national development.

Launched during Cop27 Thriving : Making Cities Green, Resilient, and Inclusive in a Changing Climate, based on 10,000 cities across the globe, studies the impact of climate change and provides a compass for policymakers on options for making cities greener, more resilient, and more inclusive in a changing climate.

Catch up on the COP27 Thriving – Making Cities Green, Resilient and Inclusive in a Changing Climate event here and listen to a podcast which discusses the 10 key findings in the report, explaining the importance of linking climate experts and economists and highlighting the different touchpoints required to create and maintain that connection.
