Lorraine joined greenspace scotland as Chief Executive in February 2024. With over 25 years experience across public and third sector, Lorraine has a strong background in policy development, advocacy, programme management and partnership projects.

Between 2015 and 2024 Lorraine led Obesity Action Scotland, based within the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, advocating for improvements to the food environment and leading whole system approach work with local and national partners.

She has previous experience in roles with the Scottish Government, Scottish Natural Heritage and local authorities. Her role in Scottish Government included developing and leading work on “Good Places, Better Health” and the inception of the Place Standard.

Lorraine is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health and a Member through distinction of the Faculty of Public Health.
