Sharon joined greenspace scotland in 2025 as a Community Enabler for Tesco Stronger Starts, a fund that supports local community projects across Scotland with a focus on children and young people.

For Tesco Stronger Starts Sharon covers South and East Central Scotland, including the following local authority areas - Dumfries & Galloway, East Ayrshire, East Lothian, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Midlothian, Scottish Borders, South Ayrshire, South Lanarkshire and West Lothian. 

Sharon's work experience is in community learning and development, starting in youth work management and moving on to capacity building, funding and child protection. Sharon has worked for third sector organisations and local authorities throughout her career. Outside of work Sharon enjoys gardening, getting outdoors and experiencing new places through travel.
